The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is the most commonly used vegetation monitoring index in agriculture. After some basic elements on the rationale behind NDVI, this tutorial shows how to download Sentinel-2 images and how to create NDVI maps with QGIS from these data.
